Dear Sirs,

I've been trying to install Skytus on a Windows XP 32bit and on a Windows 7 32bit with the latest Lotus Notes 8.5.3 english. Once the setup starts it exits giving an error Error 2732. Directory Manager not initialized.

I've tried also on a Lotus Notes Basic 8.5.2 italian and the setup goes fine but once I try to start Lotus it exits. This second error I suppose ir related to the language of Lotus.

I install skype without problems in windows 7 ultimate 64bits and Lotus Notes 8.5.2 and always when i try to open a contact or link and existing user in lotus notes address book with skype the following message appear
"Failed to open Skype program"
Any idea?

I has try to install your App but the response was that i have no Lotus Notes. I like to use your program with my organizer to dial + talk troght Skype is this possible ?

Skytus is a nice tool.. It improves communication facilities for Lotus Notes users.
It is also very secure, as it keeps the private contacts very safe....It could be easily installed on Lotus Notes 6.5, 7, 8 and 8.5.

But unfortunenatly I can't use it with a german client (using 8.5.2) . Installation is working fine. But while trying to start the notes client it stopps saying "language german not found in template sktyus names ...". The start screens hangs and closes itself.
Any new idea?

Hi, I tried to install the latest version, but it tells me that I have to uninstall the earlier version (no idea which that was). The issue is there is no way to uninstall it. It does not show up in my control panel.

Hello!
I had a shot at installing v0.3.0 earlier today, but the installer objected, saying that an older version was present and should first be uninstalled.

However, it didn't advise HOW to uninstall the older version. There was no uninstaller available in Windows 7 Programs and Features. So I tried installing v0.1.15 and then using its uninstall option, but still v0.3.0 objected about an older version.

I thought for a while, then searched the Notes 8.5.1 program folder and found three DLLs containing the string "Sky" and renamed them (for example, SkyTusExt.dll became SkyTusExt_OLD.dll). Perhaps I didn't have to rename them all, but anyhow I did. (Please advise which of these you use to trigger the error message.)

After that, c0.3.0 seemed to install without issues, but when I started the Notes Client or for some other reason my Windows 7 locked up entirely, and I had to reboot. After the reboot I looked at my names.nsf and the contacts didn't have Skype awareness, not were the three DLLs present in the Notes program folder, so perhaps the v0.3.0 installation failed. I didn't have any more time for testing today, had to start doing "real" work for my clients!

What do you think might have happened?

By the way, your plans for future releases -- as mentioned at http://dpastov.blogspot.com/2010/06/new-version-of-skytus-is-available_23.html -- seem to be exciting.

the tutorial don't show 2 little issues:

- if the address book exist, the user MUST replace the design..

- Skype tell for authorization, but the Notes Windows is on top, and this question is hidden..

In France, most Internet providers have included many international call destinations in a fixed monthly rate, so the "call" feature is not very usefull (Skype phone call add extra cost).
So, a SIP feature would be more useful.

I have used it yesterday afternoon, perfect.
I noticed that; phone number in LN should not contain space character or "-". If so it cannot be recongnised. So I adjusted all phone numbers and I can call from LN. Perfect tool. Thanks.
